The mission of the DOP is to ensure the survival, welfare and longevity of our population and way of life. We work hand in hand with specialists and educators in all scientific fields to create the harmony and peace needed for our State.

Founded in 2055, the DOP was developed and funded by Horizon Enterprises and its subsidiary companies. It's aim is to serve as a functional response to environmental threats against the city-state of Anchorage.

 

Our highly trained team of scientists and engineers have developed the following:

 

• Clean, sustainable, and renewable energy for every household

• Desalinated water from the Pacific Ocean and its glacial run-offs

• Implemented a vertical organic farming structure called the Verdant Towers; 90% of the city's produce is now home grown

• Established an annual tracking analysis of all resources measured against the “Golden Mean” of the population. 

 

We have also developed a multitude of incentivized programs to help maintain optimal living within our borders. Such as:

 

• Tax credits for all citizens that have voluntary genital sterilization 

• Same Sex Marriage stipends

• Readily available birth control

• Waiting periods for immigrants outside the city's walls applying for citizenship

• Enforcement of the Single Child Law for every family in Anchorage

• Mandatory participation in the Selection Process for all over the age of eighteen

 

The DOP is headed by the Secretary of Preservation. This position is nominated and elected by the citizens of the state. It is his or her sworn duty to organize the Selection Process and establish a supervisory committee.  The Secretary also oversees and manages each of the following departments:

 

• Selection Committee

• Department of Resources

• Immigration and Assimilation

• Engineering and Technology

 

Any abuse of regulations and by-laws is punishable by expulsion from the city.
