SELECTION offers the potential of a unique experience for viewers by having an optional component allowing the audience to determine how the story of the season actually ends. After the first 11 episodes have aired and all of the backstories of our participants are presented, the viewers will CHOOSE/VOTE on which character will be sacrificed in the final episode. Votes will be collected via text, online, and/or through an app, similar to the voting on performance shows like The Voice and American Idol.

 

The creators have written distinct resolutions for each SELECTED character, offering a satisfying farewell to whomever is killed. The goal is to have all endings ready to air for the season finale.

SUPPLEMENTAL  SEASON

 

The main upside to producing each character conclusion in addition to the season episodes is that you would already have a "second season" ready to air.  Depending upon the preference of the network/streaming service, the additional endings could be released a year later or the night of the finale. There would even be the option to trickle out each character ending a week at a time after the finale, lengthening the first season.  Lastly, on a creative note - finales are traditionally controversial and often disappointing (i.e. GoT, Lost, The Sopranos, Dexter, etc.) Our proposal of producing all of the endings would solve this problem and offer up a multitude of options to satisfy the viewer and keep lasting attention on the show as the creators prepare for a true subsequent season.
